Love this grounded perspective on spirituality and connectedness. Question: If you were to assign one tarot card as soothing or medicinal influence on the world today, which card would you choose?

The one that works for me--because, for me, it's always meant the presence and generosity of Spirit--is the Six of Cups. But the Ace of Cups would work, too. Any of those Aces signify gifts from Spirit that we make a choice to grasp or not. On the other hand, I might go for something more drastic that would require the maturity to work for change--to recognize the chance for it and to commit to it. That could be, scarily enough, The Tower. It could be The High Priestess in her role of guide through rites of passage. Thanks for this great question!

I think spiritual work includes the political. Feminist activist Carol Hanisch said "The

Agree completely - spirituality is not separate from the rest of life and the world. In fact it’s what empowers us and guides us to make meaningful change! As the personal is political, so is the spiritual. Yet there are times when spirituality helps us retreat and heal as well. If only more people realized the spiritual power we all have naturally, that we’ve been taught to deny. Thank you for sharing this medicine, Eva.
