

On Friday, July 4, significantly the United States’ Independence Day, we moved into a Neptune Retrograde period that will last through December 10.
We hear a lot about Mercury Retrograde, but when something like Neptune Retrograde comes along, almost no attention is paid. It’s not part of popular culture and discourse.
As I likely mentioned before, I’m not a trained astrologer. However, I do observe the cosmic archetypes, the dances they do with one another, the ways their energies interplay and mirror things occurring on this Earth plane.
Neptune can be a subtle, elusive, illusive mess, which might be one reason it easily slips our attention when it appears to move backwards (currently on its retrograde path first through Aries, then Pisces). That’s even more reason to take Neptune Retrograde seriously and go for a deeper, potentially revealing dive.
