This piece really resonated with me. Silence is an ongoing practice for me that challenges almost every level of internal vs. external development. I went away by myself for a month earlier this year, most of the time spent alone, and I really began to hear the land and places for the first time. I call it the drift, those moments when you let whatever is coming through speak. Incredibly powerful. This article lets that feel understood. Thank you
Thank you, Robin. I'm very glad. It brings to mind the silent retreat (run by a Roman Catholic group, actually) I went on many, many years ago. I wish there were more opportunities like that one. And I so appreciate your language: "the drift."
This feels right on time. Part of my motivation for moving (or what I looked forward to) was having more space to sit with silence. My environment was so loud and I hadn’t developed a practice to fine tune - be with self. I looked forward to quieting all the noise. Today, I sat in a guided meditation with a question. The response was - silence. I was almost brought to tears…seconding guessing myself…intuition no longer speaking to me. I remembered your post popping into my email and came back to it. Thank you for sharing…your guidance…for allowing magick to speak through you to us. A true gift. I will sit with this a little longer.

This is great. Silence never gets old or stale!
Thank you, Faye! Yes, there's always something there!

I am so grateful for the way Spirit trusts me to bring through what’s needed. Thank you for sharing that experience!
